Wine Bars Around South Bend - Cressy & Everett Real Estate

Exploring South Bend homes for sale is a fun and exciting process, but after a long day of comparing your options, it's nice to kick back and relax. When you don't feel like going out to dinner and the bar scene feels like too much, a couple of hours at a casual or classy wine bar is the perfect answer.

National Wine and Cheese Day is right around the corner, so now is a great time to start visiting some of the area's top wine bars. Here are four of our favorites. Which will you try first?

  1. Ironhand Wine Bar: 1025 Northside Blvd., South Bend, IN 46617
When our real estate agents want to give someone a true taste of South Bend, they always recommend a visit to Ironhand Wine Bar. All the wines served here are grown, created, and bottled right in South Bend at Ironhand Vineyard.

Not sure what kind of wine you want? No problem! Ironhand has a wide selection of varieties and offers tastings. They also serve wine cocktails and offer cheese & charcuterie boards, as well as small plate options like melted brie with bacon jam, marinated mozzarella, and lavender goat cheese dip.
  1. Tapastrie: 103 W. Colfax South Bend, IN 46601
A favorite among locals and visitors alike, Tapastrie is your go-to spot for wine and tapas. Here you'll find over a dozen house wines and an extensive menu of wines by the bottle sure to appeal to even the most discerning connoisseur.

When you're ready for a snack, build your own cheese and charcuterie board by mixing and matching options like Humboldt Fog Goat Cheese, 26-Month Aged Gouda, Duck Terrine, Gravlax Pastrami, and more!
  1. The Wine Gallery: 225 Toscana Blvd., Villa Macri, Granger, IN 46530
The Wine Gallery is a combination wine tasting room, restaurant, and retail wine store. They have a Certified Sommelier to help you perfectly pair your wine and food selections. It's a good thing, too, because there are over 600 different bottles to choose from!

You can choose a wine flight or select a glass from the menu and then enjoy it with an antipasto platter, appetizers, or a full meal. Whether you want to relax on the couch, grab a spot at the bar, or enjoy an intimate dining experience with white-cloth formal seating, you can do it at The Wine Gallery.

Before you head home for the day, we recommend taking some time to explore the area. You'll soon see why Granger homes for sale are in such high demand!
  1. Bin 23: 120 Perspective Drive, Ste 150 Granger, IN 46530
A friendly neighborhood gathering spot, bistro, and marketplace, Bin 23 is the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The revolving menu features domestic and international wines with a good mix of small boutique wineries and well-known brands. Choose a tasting or a flight if you can't decide, or dive right in with a glass or a bottle.

Bin 23 also appeals to your foodie side with delicious menu options like artisan-style flatbreads and pizzas cooked in a brick oven and build-your-own charcuterie boards. If you're feeling adventurous, you'll definitely want to try the deviled eggs topped with fried oysters. They go great with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio!
